Welcome to Holgate Elementary! We are home to approximately 240 students in preschool through fifth grade. We have a dedicated staff who work tirelessly to help each student reach their full potential. We look forward to working with parents to provide students an excellent educational experience.

At Holgate Elementary we have two classrooms per grade level. Our average grade level has 35 students with an average teacher to student ratio at 1:17. Students receive weekly instruction in music, physical education and library. Art and computer lab are also covered in a monthly schedule.

Staying informed and involved in your child’s education is an important part of their success. Our website is updated regularly. Morning announcements are emailed daily. If you’d like to start receiving the announcements by email, please send an email to [email protected] with subscribe morning announcements in the subject line. I also put information on our Holgate Elementary Twitter page. Parents can also sign up to receive text messages from Remind about current events happening in the elementary. Both Twitter and Remind links can be found at the bottom right hand side of the elementary webpage.

Holgate Elementary also has a very active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The meetings are typically the first Monday of the month at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome! They provide many special activities and educational opportunities for the elementary.
